The word "love" has been weaponised beyond recognition. The Bible has a clear description of love: Love God, love yourself as a being created in God's image, love your family, love your neighbour, love your people. Today "love" is presented as an argument to disavow God, because

Doctors are opposed to the NHI. Land owners are opposed to EWC. Teachers are opposed to BELA. Entrepreneurs are opposed to BEE. Only the ANC supports these laws because they benefit their greed, not the country and it's citizens. This is the crisis with the ANC making policies.

Lots of traction on that tweet yesterday about the DA not standing up and vocally supporting liberal values. If someone in party leadership doesn’t come out against many of the worst COVID policies very soon it’s going to be a relative bloodbath at the polls. Tick tock.

True story

It would appear as if we will never exit this ‘State of Disaster’ which hands the ANC Government unconstitutional control of the country. Plenty of commentary in media and high society about Ace Magashule who isn’t an MP or a cabinet minister, and virtually nothing about this.

On every shift a specialist trauma surgeon, two surgical registrars, usually a medical officer, and another two interns cover this area 24/7. They are paid with taxpayer funds. This isn’t an achievement, it’s wasteful expenditure. In addition those aren’t COVID beds.

Others have pointed this out but it’s literally impossible for there to have been “NO trauma cases”. The area you’ve shown is where priority 1 patients are treated whereas through those doors to the right is where the priority 2 and 3 patients are treated. Journalisming hard.

#NewYear For the first time in its history, the Chris Hani Baragwanath Hospital in Soweto says it has had NO trauma case patients coming through its doors on 1 January. The hospital posted photos of an eerily quiet trauma ward on its Facebook Page.

2020 - The year we beat Influenza amongst a range of other illnesses, and then suddenly claimed that a viral disease which we know predominantly affects the elderly suddenly changed its entire profile and started offing the young too. Incredible stuff.
