Why isn't aerospace MRO software simpler? http://bit.ly/bgMNOH #ITSuccess ~PS

The 3rd part of our production blog is now online http://bit.ly/9l09KX All about Wire Frames

development is gathering pace... we actually have something to touch and feel now and not too rough around the edges either.

Part 2 of our Production Blog about logo development can be read here http://www.conduce.net/Blog.aspx?f=mytechlog-production-blog-part-2

reading up on ICAO Common Taxonomy.... phew looks like a can of worms!!

We found an IATA & ICAO global airport database with a common public license. Looks like a good candidate for semantic source airport data

editing a techlog for an aircraft with an amended registration is going to be a complex use case - but hopefully nice & simple for the user

more use cases and more development today. We've decided that aircraft serial number shall not be a mandatory field.

more UI design work required. Reviewing the first round of designs we agreed that we're not unhappy with them, but not 100% happy either

we've decided to use blank slate screens instead of empty grids

first round of databases changes just been made. Not sure why we had that table like that in the first place

first round of use cases sorted - now we can start proper development

1st phase concepts, initial designs, framework & architectural setup all completed. We start proper development in earnest today

Finally got round to sharing and version controlling the wire frames. We're using #Balsamiq for wireframes & #Basecamp for file control

a useful meeting with Karen Humphriss of Business Link WM yesterday... we may be eligable for some R&D and marketing grants!!

this button conumdrum is doing our collective heads in... still no nearer a solution. Time to put it down & work on something else for a bit

Successful 2 days at #APM Talked about mytechlog.net with 4 MRO software vendors. 2 v.interested, 1 interested, 1 not so bothered.

Just received a cart load of sector records pages from @mackenziemorgan That should keep us quiet for a bit. Thankyou!!

we just found out that we may qualify for a government R&D grant. An interesting and worthwhile diversion methinks...
