We have started silent starters in every class every year while we do reg etc. Takes about 5 -10 minutes. Could be a thinking question or some previously covered work or a bit of both. #mathschat
If an external and removed agent is determining the focus of the observation and reporting it to an external audience then it is likely to be a less positive experience! #mathschat
I found it when I was at a university session that someone else was delivering - its basically 3 staged levels, but .. #mathschat here is a bit of the PPT they used..
Is there a requirement for students to know the proofs? Or is it just a way to assess how well they have got the key ideas? #mathschat
