The search is terrible, the UI feels like it's from 2015, and basic workflows are way more complicated than they need to be. Amazing that such a developer-focused platform has such poor developer experience. Competition would help but they have too much network effect.

Its insane how slow github is, especially after using self hosted gitea. On the other hand I feel like git is kinda outdated for VCS
