Are people gonna get bored of Sora2 & AI slop like they did with Snapchat filters, or is this crap here to stay? Really hope not
Yeah maybe people won’t get bored, just used to it. Once AI gets good enough, no one will care what’s real as long as it feels real.
the norm and mitch hedburg jokes are as good or better than the originals so it's here to stay
For people who already value slop, like all the people scrolling garbage on TT/IG/FB/YT, AI will be an amazing source of pointless distraction. For everybody else, they will value trust even more.
I think people will get bored of this and respect for actual art will increase

I started seeing a lot of it for a while, but seems like it died out, except for the fake videos that my parents believe to be true and share with me, lol
only if nothing genuinely useful comes out of it—if it's just spam, yeah, but tools that stick solve real problems
I think the real content with real people will be a treasonous thing. No like “i made a cute dancing banana video, check it out” Values, background, story telling
They haven't even gotten started yet. I expect them to improve the quality and abilities, reduce the limitations, and edge into more spicy content to expand the revenue stream. The Desert of the Real expands every day.

It's already falling off. Only the quick-hit dopamine junkies who can't get away from short-form videos remain. They're slowly learning too.
A lot of the viral reels on Instagram are now straight up ai generated without it being obvious. The thing is slop was always there before ai, now there's gonna be a lot more and you won't notice
Well openAI business model seems to be showing that, hype shit up then fades away
I really want it to put those Hollywood celebs out of work. They can't even act properly but earn millions lol
