It’s not even lowering the bar, it’s raising the bar on random bullshit like extra curriculars or how much you can appeal to whatever sensibilities of the admissions person with your essay

Evil Neetcode again. But I do agree with you. What I don’t like about this kind of policy is that they don’t propose a solution and are expecting the free market to autocorrect itself. Sure the SAT is deficient but you have to propose a better system so that the admission process…

I think the tests are awful and some excel but don't test well on standardized tests. But they need a replacement not just dropped and a lowering of the bar to zero.
