We are hosting a Book Swap for Summer Reading! Students are invited to bring in 1 or 2 gently read books to the library during the week of May 5th. All students (even if they don't contribute a book) will be able to pick 1 or 2 to add to their home libraries the week of May 12th.

Mrs. Marquez, LIEL at @walzemNEISD, designed a 3-week virtual camping trip in Rocky Mountain National Park. Using digital and print resources, 3rd-5th grade students built vocabulary, practiced persuasive writing, and collaborated as a team, leaving ready for the STAAR test.

First graders at @HuebnerLibrary were invited to join the FBI (Fiction Book Investigators) in the library! Each week, students searched for clues in stories as they deduce different types of stories. Investigations include Trickster Tales, Pourquoi Tales and Noodlehead Stories.
Third graders throughout @NEISD are participating in the NCAA Read to the Final Four® Challenge. To celebrate reaching an impressive 46 solid days of reading so far, @HuebnerHuskies students took part in a reading rally and had the chance to meet @churchillhoops!
