4 parks, 11.5 hours, 13 rides, 11.3 miles walked. Wow do my feet throb right now but today was an amazing day. #BestWifeEver
Been trying to get my head around the agentic commerce space and tried mapping the layers to the OSI model as an exercise. What did I miss or get wrong? #AI #MCP #AP2 #ACP #AgenticCommerce
All these #AI deals are great, but the race won't be won with GPUs or tokens. It will be won with ELECTRICITY. But the US doesn't have enough. And we won’t have enough. Not at this pace. We’re building 21st-century AI with 19th-century grids and rules. Want to lead in AI? We…
I updated my relationships diagram based on the Monday Broadcom news and inspired by Bloomberg's addition of market cap/valuation. I want to try and find a way to depict aggregate gigawatt capacity too. Thoughts?
Will ChatGPT Apps help finally unseat the 40-year-old desktop paradigm—or is this just another attempt?
Are AI coding assistants just hype, or can they actually make you a better developer? Pete Johnson, Field CTO of AI at MongoDB, dives headfirst into a real-world vibe coding session to build a complete MEAN (MongoDB, Express, Angular, Node.js) stack application from scratch in…
What the #GDPval money slide was (left, primary image on the blog article openai.com/index/gdpval/) vs what I think it should have been (right, p.7 of the white paper arxiv.org/pdf/2510.04374). AI enhancing humans > AI replacing humans.
My first post here in a loooooooong time. I spent a few hours after getting back from a vacation combing through the GDPval paper and, wow, do I wish they led with this diagram on page 7 of the white paper that lays out how much of a productivity and speed boost using AI can be.
I started getting paid to code in 2010 and have been doing it uninterruptedly since then. I've worked with people who have been in tech since before I was born and others who are younger than my youngest sibling. A few thoughts on this topic 🧵
I don’t understand the “things were better in the late 2000s” school of web development thinking going around lately. Maybe it’s nostalgia for when people first started? Or not wanting to learn new things? Either way, no! I assure you, things are SOOO much better now. 😄
A second 3.7.0 release candidate is out for @helmpack. There was a small regression and thanks to some community testing it's been fixed. Details on the new RC are at buff.ly/3sZnNmU

The Last Cloud-Native Puzzle Piece: Security Automation
Cloud-native security requires automation cultural change, collaboration, and visibility if DevOps and SRE teams are to make it work.
Fun fact: When you forget which 2FA phone app you used to secure your @gitlab account, you can generate a recovery code in a project you've already authenticated using your SSH keys. Thanks for making this idiot proof for me today @gitlab docs.gitlab.com/ee/user/profil…

“Any home improvement project worth doing takes at least three trips to the hardware store.” —My late father-in-law. About to make my 3rd of the day.
A few years back I applied for a director role and didn't get it. I ended up working for the company as an IC anyway because I really liked them. But I was bummed for sure. In hindsight, not getting that role turned out to be a great thing for me in the long run.
Six years today since we released this "easy way to run code in the cloud" 😊. Happy birthday Lambda! And thank you to the #serverless community for making those years fly by - many, many more to come ;) @timallenwagner @jeffbarr aws.amazon.com/blogs/aws/run-…
Was hoping today would be the day the original timeline would be restored.
Attention #Georgia! 🍑🇺🇸 If you voted by absentee in GA, check the status of your ballot now! If it was rejected, you have until Friday, November 6 at 5pm to make sure your vote counts. georgia.ballottrax.net/voter/
President Trump is claiming he “won” Georgia and Pennsylvania but now things are being rigged because more votes are coming in. FACT CHECK: He is wrong. Votes are still being counted. That is how elections work in the Unites States.
