NIB has trained core staff from the Bo and Kenema City & District Councils on developing and managing Public-Private Community Partnership (PPCP) projects to enhance revenue generation and improve public service delivery.

NIB, through its PPP Directorate, has launched nationwide workshops with local councils to boost capacity in identifying and managing Public-Private-Community Partnerships (PPCPs) and PPPs. The sessions run from Oct 27–Nov 14, targeting Kenema, Bo, Makeni,Port Loko, WARD-C, & FCC

NIB hosted a delegation from MAG Company for Trade and Investment, one of Egypt’s leading private investment groups, as part of a strategic mission to deepen bilateral trade and investment cooperation between S/L & Egypt.

At the Climate Resilience and Energy Transition Dialogue (CRET) 2025 in Freetown, NIB Deputy Executive Director Ms. Fatima Mahawa Sandi moderated a high-level panel on “Investing in Youth Agribusiness for Jobs and Inclusive Growth.” in Sierra Leone.
