The product development for this year's "Nibutani Ainu Craft" is underway. Recently the craftspersons in charge of design gathered to review the new prototypes while also looking back at last year's developed products. We are also planning an event to unveil these new products.

📍In production now! Known for his woodcarving, Ainu craft artist Okamoto Tomoya is now trying something different—he’s currently making a tekunpe (a traditional Ainu-style hand and wrist covering) for himself. He even handwove and embroidered the attus fabric used in this piece.
