The way children are used as a political tool is really sick. The same politicians who will ban drag shows/diversity education/tik tok in the interest of “protecting our kids” won’t do shit about guns and are against ending lunch debt but they care about children? FOH
The reality is most of our children live in hellish conditions because politicians refuse to do the bare minimum to keep them safe from guns, strengthen public education, use economic policies to lift them out of poverty. But cruel nonsensical legislation is passed “for our kids”
