🚨🚨 Worker Unity, Groundxero, & Notes on Academy have published a brilliant book on the Farmers' Rebellion in India. Not only does it document the protest by way of interviews on the Farmers' movements, it provides key insights into agrarian question (of labour & land) in India.
An important book 'The Journey of the Farmers' Rebellion' was released in Chandigarh y'day. It deserves mention bcs the interviews curated have been the testimony of hardwork & objective ground reporting of Farmers' Protests by teams of @workersunity,Ground Xero & @notesacad.

Com. Darshan Pal, SKM spokesperson from BKU Krantikari, declares that before 2024 elections, more student-youth must come join the Kisan Andolan to defeat fascist RSS BJP. Fascism can only be defeated on streets by the toiling majority based on a People's Charter of Demands.
@khanumarfa says covering #KisanAndolan & anti-CAA movement were the most meaningful parts of her career. That farmers confidently discussed national policies, foreign policy & spoke openly against their enemies in Ambani-Adani Raj—this is what is reviving equal citizenship.
Com. Paramjit from ZPSC says Dalit landless women are fiercely fighting for panchayati land, against microfinance & better wages. Sanjha Morcha of united farmworkers unions was formed, inspired by SKM's success. But the issue of caste, patriarchy and land must be fought face on!
Com. Pavel (Editor, Surkh Leeh) reflects on how farmers unions decisively united against WTO - IMF. He believes that it advanced the history of post-47 land struggles and post-80s big farmer agitations, creating a new basis for revolutionary anti-imperialist worker-farmer unity.
Com. Rajinder from Kirti Kisan Union highlighted that repealing the 3 Farm Laws will not solve India's agrarian crisis. He argues that Punjab's wheat/paddy monoculture model has been devastating farmers post Green Revolution. An ecological alternative must be won by struggle.
