How do you justify spending a $1000 on an iPhone that's virtually 99% the same as the last 3 iterations but you complain about spending a few $$ protecting your privacy?
That would be stupid.
Proton is not, and never was a privacy focused company. They’re just another change-your-dns-records-and-go platform, but without Adsense. You think the government of Switzerland is going to protect you? Cute. Host your own email server for true privacy.
I think @ProtonPrivacy should publish a detailed transparency report about the whole @phrack thing. If it really was ToS then it would be immediately clear.
We got mixed opinions on whether settings should sync across devices. We’ll keep that on our radar👀 For now, we’re working on export/import via JSON so you can back up, restore, & share your settings

Should customization settings be synced across devices? Or is there any other solution y'all want? Currently, we only allow certain settings to sync like the editor toolbar, date/time format. Many others are local to the device like theme, editor behavior etc

Caring about privacy does not make you a criminal — it just makes you human.
