Last thing about the “garbage” stuff: What we’re seeing is racist white folks do what they always do: insult other people, then somehow make the conversation all about white folks, their feelings, and their issues. It’s always an attempt to recenter the conversation on whites.
9 years later, and people still haven’t caught on that Trump’s immediate response when his opponent has a successful media event, is to flood the zone with the stupidest, most outrageous, visual clownish behavior possible, so he can pull all media attention back to him.
Because he is a racist and everyone around him is a racist and his voting base is racist and his party is racist and they genuinely despise all marginalized groups and intend malice and harm and death for them. This isn't confusing. It's extremely direct and has been for 10 yrs.
