( α. ) Chamber frowned slightly at the tone and shook his head. "I don't think they will, chéri. We're all falling into place with each other. Maybe it is unfortunate for us secretive types but... It is happening."
(α) "Until when?" His tone was sharper than he intended it to be. "Once they're done with me, they'll toss me aside too."
( α. ) “You think so?” Chamber asked and he gently attached the bandage to itself once he was done. “It does keep you alive, no?”
⠀ ⠀⠀⠀Mono sits quietly as the sentinel carefully applies the ointment、 watching the bandage wrap around neatly. ⠀ ⠀ ⠀⠀⠀❝I think being a radiant is the worst. I think my own abilities is out to kill me.❞ ⠀
( α. ) Chamber took their arm and picked up the bandaging. He was careful to apply some healing ointment along the stitching and gently started to wrap. “You do just fine,” he said. “I suppose these are the moments you feel human… like the ones of us that have no powers.”

( α. ) “Mm. It is hard not to think like that. I understand the feeling,” Chamber said. He knew he was still the suspicious rich man with secrets. But they needed us money. “But they also need you. And that makes you vital.”
(α) It took a lot for Cypher not to melt into Chamber's embrace. "Sometimes... I feel this organisation would be better off without me," he mumbled. "I know I am only being tolerated for what I can provide after all..."
( α. ) Chamber shifted closer and held out his hands for Mono to give him their arm. “And that makes you mad,” he said. “I suppose it would feel like an oversight not to.”

( α. ) Chamber kept a small frown and shifted in to wrap his arms around him from behind. “Do you feel like you need to run away?”
(α) "Just... a thought that came to mind," Cypher said as he turned away. He didn’t actually know why he had asked that, he wasn't planning on vanishing... was he?
( α. ) “Well… I would be very upset,” he said as he considered it. “Why would you vanish? What are you suddenly thinking?”
(α) He paused for a moment, as if wondering if he even should say anything before steeling himself "What would you do if I vanished?"
( α. ) Chamber had fallen asleep for a moment in their silence and warmth. He yawned softly. “Mmm… yes?” He opened his eyes to look at him.
(α) After a while, Cypher pulled away and looked at chamber with this unreadable expression. "Vincent...?"
( α. ) Chamber smiled and stroked his fingers along his back. He nuzzled in close to him too and closed his eyes to feel the warmth between them.
(α) Cypher didn’t speak after that. He simply cuddled closer to Chamber and enjoyed the softness of the bed more.
( α. ) “What was the error?” He asked as he watched him. “I can help you wrap that up with a bandage if you need. I think it is easier with outside hands, ouais?
