It boggles the mind that in democratic India a government institution can tell its nurses not to speak in their mother tongue to others who understand them. This is unacceptable, crude,offensive and a violation of the basic human rights of Indian citizens. A reprimand is overdue!
Kerala has received 73,38,806 doses of vaccine from GoI. We've provided 74,26,164 doses, even making use of the extra dose available as wastage factor in each vial. Our health workers, especially nurses have been super efficient and deserve our wholehearted appreciation!
Amidst COVID-19 the true value of labour is acknowledged as priceless. Yet, even now workers' rights are encroached upon, their unity is sought to be broken. We must be vigilant. #MayDay greetings to all including health care workers. Let's lead the fight against this pandemic.
