In December, we'll read Paul's letters to churches across Asia minor... in #Galatia, #Ephesus, #Phillipi and #Colossi, where Paul exhibits a #shepherd's heart for the local #church and #God's people. He sets the foundation of each letter in a powerful #prayer.

Imagine the #leadership challenges for #Joshua and for the rest of the #Israelites after a full generation of following Moses. How could Joshua fill Moses' shoes? The same way Moses did... hearing the voice of the #Lord and leading his people in obedience.
#Exodus focuses on #liberation, #covenant, and the relationship between #God and his chosen nation, #Israel. It narrates the Israelites' deliverance from Egyptian #slavery under Moses, highlighted by #miracles like the parting of the Red Sea.
#Genesis starts with #creation and the fall of Adam and Eve, highlighting divine sovereignty, human nature, and the need for #redemption. The narrative weaves through key events and themes, illustrating disobedience, judgment, and #mercy.
The range of style and tone between two #apostles, #Peter and #John, couldn't be more significant. They share an intensity and clarity birthed from the same core experiences with #Jesus… they were both part of his inner circle.
In March, we'll roll through more of Paul's letters, some to #churches (1 & 2 Thessalonians), others to individuals he has #mentored (1 & 2 Timothy, Titus) and one to a slave owner who is a brother in #Christ (Philemon). See #theology in practice as the #Gospel comes alive.
