The correct answer is obviously list.Sum()
Asked a developer in a job interview to share their screen and write a foreach loop in C# They had "Expert in C#" on the CV Does this actually work? Are candidates banking on not being interviewed by technical people?
We've reached the point where Ukraine needs to consider very hard whether it's willing to extend a Ukrainian security guarantee to NATO.
1/ If you have ETL like data streaming one place to another give akka.net streams a try as it can fully saturate your hardware, it can increase your throughput significantly. It also supports back-pressure, means no OutOfMemoryExceptions
So @OnurGumusDev 's talk at our @AkkaDotNET Community Standup yesterday was an excellent example of what you can build on top of Akka - he built an opinionated F# CQRS framework (FCQRS) that's highly expressive and concise

Hi @ICooper is there video recording of yours and Martin's talk "Modern Observability and Event Driven Architectures" at NDC London 2025? All videos seem to be published, but this one is missing. Was it recorded?
I think I understand what is the essence of Trump's peace plan: stop all military aids to Ukraine, wait until it runs out of ammunition, and then Putin will stop the invasion because he is fair. Can't see any flaws in that.
The question now is what to do. This suggestion might seem off the wall, but it is informed by this mathematician's view of politics as emergent phenomena, explained in the essay cited in my bio, which contains within it an approach to intervention. 1/2
Just a reminder: the US is not Castro's Cuba, Putin's Russia, or Xi's China. At any moment the GOP could unite and oppose Trump and create a crisis for him. Their cowardice has been astounding but they can still act without being put in a Gulag or shot.
This dude has the audacity to ask Zelensky why he’s not wearing a shirt… Go ask Musk the same thing, you little lackey prick And KUDOS to how Zelensky answered.
This might literally be the first time in US history that an American president has criticized an ally for not surrendering to an invading army. Disgraceful.
Trump on Zelensky: I like him personally, but I don’t care about personally. I care about getting the job done. He allowed the war to go on, which shouldn’t even happened Trump on Biden: he was grossly incompetent, he didn’t know what he was doing
I never thought I would write this, but watch Julia Hartley-Brewer absolutely shred Richard Tice over Ukraine.

Around 2012 when it became clear that Putin is becoming a cruel dictator, it became also clear that his big supporters will support anything he does, no matter how far he comes. I think the same can be said now about loud supporters of Trump. They will accept anything from him.
