programming is not learnt by books , its learnt by segfaults

My full time job is writing C in 2025. I will still be writing C in 2035. All of it to the C89 standard (plus C99 comments).

cos180 is not 0 lil bro

There are better books than this on c

Not sure about the modern , 2025 characterisation and all that ,some wizards who are custodians of the standard are not so enthusiastic about c23 and swear you don't need it , so it's at best a split opinion

modern c++ has made C great again

Man, I remember college days when we learned C, haven't used it since.

Definitely great book that teach you new way of thinking in C, but is not for beginners.

This is blasphemy, -std=gnu89

It sits on my bookshelf even now.

With this suggestion you earned my follow good sir.

Prerequisites?

This book is written by a person who co-designed the C23 standard. He throws a lot of nuances at the reader. Fine if one is already prepared, but it's by no means aimed at teaching/elucidating/clarifying how to use C effectively.

Thank you for the book recommendation!! 🙌
