How The Salaf Became Imāms Of This Religion When truthfulness & sincerity were mentioned to Imām Ahmad bin Hanbal رحمه الله he said: "With this(truthfulness & sincerity) the people(Righteous Predecessors) were raised." [Tabaqāt al-Hanabilah of ibn Abee Ya'laa',vol.1,pg.147]
One of the worst aspects of blameworthy & sinful character is the acceptance of nameemah (sharing private information with others who might take offense, causing rifts). Not only that, but actually honoring its carriers as some kind of special allies who show exemplary loyalty.
Nameemah is pure filth, dear brothers. Fear Allah & shun it & its people. Rebuke & shame them & refuse their reports. If not, you facilitate corruption & honor its people & refuge with Allah is sought. When it involves da'wah & its people, the issue is even more serious!
