Children living in a home that is coercive and controlling is a nightmare. It is harmful. It is a neverending back and forth of emotions to suit the behaviours of the perpetrator parent. They yo-yo between extremes. It’s an all or nothing environment. This is harmful to children.

Mrs Justice Judd said "any findings of alienation purported to be made by Ms Gill” could not be relied on. She also disregarded the judgment of the district judge. The ruling could have potential ramifications for other cases where Gill has made assessments.
