Just learned about MySQL's FIELD(...) function, which allows you to order by appearance in a list. Useful for forcing the order of results based on an array of values you know in a WHERE IN clause

I have *so* much admiration for Taylor and what he’s accomplished — I owe basically my entire career to him and the community he’s built. Really excited for this next chapter 🥳

I'm excited to announce that Laravel has raised a $57M Series A in partnership with Accel. I believe that Laravel is the most productive way to build full-stack web applications, and Laravel Cloud will be the platform for shipping those applications that this community deserves.

Tailwind / Css just blew my mind 🤯, you can use has + empty states together (e.g. has-[.selector:empty]:hidden) to hide elements with empty states: tailwindcss.com/docs/hover-foc…

Laravel Tip ⚡ Ever heard of the "Tell, Don't Ask" principle? It states that we should not fetch data from an object to do conditional checks upon it, instead, we should ask the object to do that for us. Added benefits: clear intention, reusable logic & less error-prone code.
