Maybe the coolest (and most surreal) part of Twitter is that it affords you the opportunity to chat with experts in whichever field you’re interested in for a couple hours on a Sunday morning.


A wonderful thread demonstrating why developing automaticity in key areas (often blasted as drill and kill) is so important long term.

Expertise isn't about having more working memory, it's about needing less of it. Experts automate many components in long-term memory and can recognise meaningful patterns instantly, bypassing the need to process individual elements. ⬇️ 🧵
