I found out I passed my in force interview today! I am beyond excited to be (hopefully) joining the police family 👮♀️ Next step... the wait for a start date and pre employment checks🚔
The worst news. Leaving for work that day will have been like so many other days. Tragic that Sgt. Graham Saville didn’t make it home again. His last act, risking his life for a stranger. Thoughts with his family, friends and colleagues. bbc.co.uk/news/uk-englan…
Blaming the police for the existence of crime makes as much sense as blaming doctors and nurses for the existence of disease.
Remembering PC Andrew Harper, of Thames Valley Police, who was killed on duty three years ago today. We will never forget him.
From today #HarpersLaw is onto the statute book, introducing mandatory life sentences for anyone convicted of killing an emergency worker whilst committing a crime. Please see below a personal statement from Lissie Harper facebook.com/46584808357757…
After yesterday’s launch, I’ve got a signed softcover copy of #TheSiege to give away. Like & RT this post, copying in two friends, and I’ll pick a winner at random this weekend.
Just one week until I start training! It’s taken 15 months from application to start date. A long process but I’m so excited to start next week!

Just had confirmation that I passed the application sift and I’m now awaiting a date for the online assessment #OneStepCloser #ThinBlueLine
Time to get stuck into this! Absolutely loved the last book Blue. So beautifully written and honest. If you haven’t read it yet, I would highly recommend it! @policecommander
Very intrigued to know how many applications it took you until you were successful in joining the police?
The perfect Sunday reading at the end of a week where my first application to join the police was turned down. I think it’s made me more determined to keep trying! Anyone else got any good police related book recommendations for when I’ve finished this one?
Having passed the CBQ following my application onto the DHEP, but not being asked for an interview (I’m told due to a large number of applicants), I’ve decided to set up a Twitter account! Any advice, hints & tips are welcome😊
