New report reveals the economic benefit of Peak Cluster
Peak Cluster to provide £180 million per year economic boost from latter part of this decade
Today we’re at the High Peaks Jobs and Apprenticeships Fair in Buxton. Peak Cluster will create and safeguard local jobs, through the creation of essential low carbon materials. Pop down and say hi!👋
The Peak Cluster will enable a low carbon transition for the cement and lime industry, expanding into a new low carbon construction products sector, accelerating the UK’s transition to net zero whilst safeguarding UK supplies and jobs.

The UK’s target is to be net zero by 2050. The Peak Cluster will reduce the regions emissions by 25% across Derbyshire and Staffordshire through carbon captures technology, helping the UK reach net zero, equivalent to taking 1.2 million cars off the road.
