I've been working on a simple calculator for a couple days now using things I've learned from @jonasschmedtman and @AndreiNeagoie in their Udemy courses. It only accepts single digits currently but I'm working on that. ctlemon83.github.io/simple-calcula…

I built a very simply tip calculator this evening. Mind you, it's definitely not styled yet but it works! This is my first project after starting Jonas Schmedtmann's JavaScript course! ctlemon83.github.io/tipcalculator/ @jonasschmedtman

I'm back at it! After a long absence from learning web dev, I jumped back into the Zero to Mastery course and redid the HTML/CSS sections. Then I started Jonas Schmedtmann's JavaScript course to get a different teacher's perspective and it's going great! #javascript

I've decided that on this attempt of the #100DaysOfCode, I'm going to break it into smaller chunks and tackle it subject by subject. For the first 25 days, I'm going to focus on HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, Balsamiq (never tried it), and a new portfolio. I'll start tomorrow!

As I restart #100DaysOfCode, I'm starting my learning over with @yu_angela's Web Developer Bootcamp on Udemy. I've been learning for a year and a half but I feel like starting fresh with a different course might help re-energize my efforts and kick-start my motivation!

I got halfway through #100DaysOfCode and then hit August and got distracted. Laid off my day job, had to find a new position, new school year stress with two kids, one on the spectrum, etc. Now things are calming down again. I'm going to restart 100 days and get back to coding!

What kind of trouble do others have with the #100DaysOfCode challenge when it comes to mental health? My brain seems to be at capacity and it’s been very difficult to commit to coding this last week.

This has been a very difficult week for coding. Barely any check-ins for the #100DaysOfCode but I have gotten the work done. Who else has issues with responsiveness? I know how to make pages responsive. My problem is making the same content work for different layouts.

I'm so behind on #100DaysOfCode. I am promising myself to catch up and get back on track today/tonight! Mentally exhausted from life!

Two days since my last Tweet. I coded the day before yesterday and didn't check in on Twitter. I didn't code yesterday because the day was spent in airports between flights and my laptop is too big for comfort on a plane ride. I'm back at it now and will have progress tonight!

Day 46 of #100DaysOfCode was short but constructive. It was my 12th wedding anniversary but I at least was able to squeeze in finishing the Basic Algorithm Scripting section of @freeCodeCamp's curriculum. On to object oriented programming!

Day 45 of #100DaysOfCode was wrapped up last night with some more work on @freeCodeCamp. I wasn't able to spend much time because my actual job wore me out yesterday. I'll be working on more FreeCodeCamp curriculum today. Only one more in the Basic Algorithm Scripting section!

Day 44 of #100DaysOfCode was pretty uneventful. Just more work on the Cub Scout site but no @freeCodeCamp today. Hopefully more progress tomorrow!

I had my first website redesign consult on day 43 of #100DaysOfCode! Luckily the requests are within my reach...for the most part. I'll need to stretch the skills a bit but that's obviously a good thing. One more challenge on @freeCodeCamp finished too!

Day 42 of #100DaysOfCode was great! I did some more work on the Cub Scout site, finished another @freeCodeCamp challenge in Basic Algorithms Scripting, and got my first gig! I will be redesigning a church website from the ground up!

Day 41 of #100daysofcode challenge was pretty low activity. I spent the hour updating code on my portfolio page to make it more accessible.

Day 40 of #100DaysOfCode was a little more progress in the @freeCodeCamp Basic Algorithms Scripting section. I can feel my mental tool kit getting bigger and stronger!
