The first count in Clare is'far away' according to count staff who say that spoiled votes are "very high." Returning Officer Rita Considine says she is currently adjudicating on "doubtful votes." #Aras25 @rtenews
All 180 boxes are now open in Clare. 67 per cent of the boxes were tallied. The tally has Catherine Connolly on 61.22 per cent, Heather Humphreys on 27.05 per cent and Jim Gavin on 11.73 per cent. The tally suggests that there have been 2,087 spoiled votes in Clare. @rtenews
