Alex Karp is one of the business leaders I respect the most The man has both vision and courage He’s consistently “contrarian and right” And he’s a man of principle 🫡

I just finished ‘The Philosopher in the Valley, Alex Karp, Palantir, and the Rise of the Surveillance State’ by Michael Steinberger. It was a quick, well-written, and fascinating read, in part a biography on Alex Karp as well as a deep dive on @PalantirTech. I found the book to…

"I'm most proud of the fact that we've been able to shift the culture in Silicon Valley away from being skeptical of America to being pro-America." Build. Shift the culture.

Stop what you’re doing and listen to this 90 second clip.

To protect the West, America needs to be the world's dominant technological power. The US should embrace its ability to build artificial intelligence software, own AI chip supply chains, and construct leading large language models, says @PalantirTech CEO Alex Karp.

The people who say AI will replace construction workers or jobs in the trades have surely never been on a construction site or have done any construction work themselves.

It’s absolutely back and thank god. We have so much more to say than white walls, stacked boxes, and lots of glass. We should build with gusto. Build things that are beautiful to look at. Build things that future generations envy us for.

This was one of best speeches I have heard from Dr. Karp and a phenomenal introduction by Shyam. Deeply emotional and deeply inspired.

Palantir CEO Alex Karp receives the Hudson Institute's Herman Kahn Award. Intro from @ssankar and full speech from Dr. Karp below.

This is a really great speech for all the people who shrug their shoulders and say, who cares who wins the AI race. The truth is simple: It's America or China. And if its China, everything past generations died for, gets thrown out the window.

Late to this, but the JP Morgan Chase Headquarters is beautiful. Would love to see more buildings with serious style and charm start popping up across America. We could build cool things if we want to.

New York has a new icon. After several years of construction, today marks the official opening of 270 Park Avenue, a $3BN skyscraper that will become the global headquarters of JP Morgan Chase. Designed @FosterPartners, the supertall structure stands 423-metres above the…

Want to stop socialism? One weird trick: let America build again Build houses, build factories, build anything When we build, we prosper, and we win

Why is housing so expensive? Because the government constrains supply. Simple as that. Top 3 policy issue in the U.S. has a straightforward libertarian solution.

Onlyfans having the highest revenue per employee is down right sad and is indicative of collapse in civility and morality. One side can argue it’s the result of the hollowing out of religion and family values. The other could argue it’s about the perverse nature of late stage…

This was a great. We have to talk about the root cause of these radical movements and not just judge them through our digital prisms. The generational conflict is manifesting at warp speed and was on full display this Tuesday. Until we get real, it will only accelerate.

Peter Thiel: If you graduated in 1970 with no student debt, compare that to the millennial experience: too many people go to college, they don’t learn anything, and they end up with incredibly burdensome debt. Student debt is a version of this generational conflict that I’ve…

This interview is simply LOADED. @mikeallen serious props for being able to take the conversations to a second, third, and even fourth level.

📺 WATCH: On the Season 1 finale of The Axios Show, Palantir CEO Alex Karp and @mikeallen cover: • Karp’s political transformation • Government surveillance, and why he thinks the fears are overblown • A personal story that brought him to tears

The sheer amount political leaders need to input into the system just to generate one iota of an outcome is a serious problem. Until the input to output ratio gets resolved, we will experience rampant radicalism, driving towards heightened generational tension. Elected leaders…

Spot on. The college industrial complex led so many to slaughter. The reckoning isn’t coming. It’s here.

Palantir CEO Alex Karp on Zohran Mandani: “The average Ivy League grad voting for this mayor is annoyed their education is not that valuable, and that the person who knows how to drill for oil has a more valuable profession” “I think that annoys the fuck out of these people”

Need the full interview now.

📺 NEW on The Axios Show: Palantir CEO Alex Karp tells @mikeallen that Americans should worry less about government surveillance than surveillance from companies that want to sell them things: "That's the reality of life in the West."

People want radical change and disruption and are willing to take huge risks to get it. The old world order is broken for many and the desire to usher in a new world order is reaching critical mass. That’s the takeaway from last night. There is nothing more.
