More places announced today for the First Home Loan Deposit Scheme. Keri, a Beyond Bank customer, spoke about how she had tried unsuccessfully for 7 years to get a home loan, until she accessed the scheme through us to buy land and build her home with her partner.
Today, @ScottMorrisonMP announced more places under our Home Guarantee Scheme. Keri and Seamus entered the market years earlier by using the Schemes and are among the 320,000 Australians who have been supported into a home of their own by the Morrison Government.
This morning I met Shalika, Chandler and Brendan to discuss the challenges of saving for a 20% deposit on a house. The Morrison Government is supporting single parent families and first home buyers purchase a home of their own with a deposit of as little as 2% or 5% respectively.
