If you enjoyed the #WTOStakeover yesterday, and are looking for more from the presenters and @UofGBattleArch, then have a look at the review of the recent @pgca2019 conference which features more on their work. doi.org/10.1080/157407…

What a very enriching day. Thank you to @stuffofwar for hosting our research and to @clarenceb30 for organising everything. Not to forget @KurtReadman @almostmartita @LaingGarrett @ArturStasiek and @sbschwartz_ .

Hello! I’m excited to share today a brief overview of the research I did for my MLitt in Conflict Archaeology/Heritage at the University of Glasgow @UofGBattleArch. My name is Samantha Blair Schwartz and you can follow me @sbchwartz_ Let’s get started! #WTOStakeover (1/13)

Another @UofGBattleArch presenter from #pgca2019 is @LaingGarrett discussing soviet monuments in the post-CCCP. #WTOStakeover

#WTOStakeover Hello, I'm @LaingGarrett, another one of @UofGlasgow's Conflict Archaeology and Heritage bunch. I'll be discussing a public reinterpretation of Soviet monuments. Let's dive right in, shall we?

Don't forget @ArturStasiek another @UofGBattleArch graduate who has some excellent work on the archaeology of internment in #WW2 America.

One from @DigWaterloo and @UofGBattleArch @ArchConflict talking about her family experience as refugees in #WW2

#WTOStakeover is starting again. 1/Hello, I’m @ArchConflict and I'm Belgian. I am a graduate of the @UofGBattleArch. Today, I will be presenting the work I have been doing around the journal of Lucienne Vervotte who was a Belgian refugee during the 1940 Exodus.

Another @UofGBattleArch student @KurtReadman talking about the use of relious buildings in warfare. Much like Castles, Scottish churches combine military and domestic architecture.

1) #WTOStakeover Hi! I’m @KurtReadman, another graduate of @UofGlasgow’s Conflict Archaeology + Heritage gang. Some light lunch reading for you. I’m sharing some of my work into the diverse roles of Scottish churches in conflict from the medieval to the early modern period.

Thanks for following along with the first #WTOStakeover for the day. Next up will be @ArchConflict at 11:00am UK time to talk about recontextualising and visualising the journal of Lucienne Vervotte.

Some of the students who presented at #pgca2019 last year are taking part in the #WTOStakeover today. Of you missed the conference or want to see more head on over to @stuffofwar and follow.

Today's posts on War Through Other Stuff are brought to you by the 2019 graduating class of the Master's in Conflict Archaeology & Heritage at @UofGlasgow @UofGBattleArch. I'm @clarenceb30 and will be kicking things off with my research about statue parks and relocating monuments

I’m really looking forward to speaking to @SimonVerdegem this evening for @PastConv. Every time we meet it’s been for something pretty awesome; @DigHill80 and @pgca2019 to name but a few 🤓 #PastConversations

Just to add - this paper should now be free to access for a limited time so all attendees can get a chance to read it.

Really pleased to have the conference I organised end up being reviewed in the Journal of Conflict Archaeology. Still dream of getting am article in it, but I'll settle for being mentioned. Thanks @talkingpiffle and @SophieMMcMilla1 for adding some fantatic output to the event.

We are delighted that the #PGCA2019 Conference has been given an excellent review by @talkingpiffle & @SophieMMcMilla1 published in @JofConflictArch. We couldn't think of a better legacy for the conference than this. Thanks to everyone involved 1/4 doi.org/10.1080/157407…

The @battleftrust 2020 Conference and not one woman in the programme! It's worth noting that @pgca2019 had 50:50 representation and I know @FoCEdinburgh will aim for gender balance. Women are out there researching #battlefieldarchaeology Do better! battlefieldstrust.com/conference2020/

To steal @DrIainBanks' photo with @ProfTonyPollard and their latest group of conflict scholars, the split has to be pretty much equal.
