And PR is up, I'll slowly start updating @php_api_clients' middleware packages so the switch will be easier. Initial PR with the new interfaces is up at: github.com/php-api-client…
Now I have to admit traits where a mistake here. So in the next major version they are gone, and I'll be using interfaces to detect when to call the middleware or when not. Already working on a PR deprecating the traits 🎉
In one of my (many) project I'm using traits in a middleware system to make it easy to pass on steps the middleware doesn't handle. Each call costs a tiny bit of resources, where with these small changes I can just skip them, not calling them at all.
