Kale Nicol just scored his 19th goal in the 1st period of game 5 of the Jets AA Showdown. And this kid was denied age advancement? He would be a top 5 player at U15. I would have him on the 2010 team for the WHL Cup. Kid is built different. Here is @hockeymanitoba next star!
Should @TheWHL Cup go to a Memorial Cup format? The 1 seed gets a bye to the final? 2 vs 3. Winner advances. Manitoba just beat BC after 0-3 round robin and being outscored 14-5. Outshot 48-20 tonight, Barnaby gets 1st star. Lucky break for them. Can they pull off another upset?
Should the WHL change the draft year to be the 15 year old season instead of 14? Can Hockey Manitoba, Sask, Alberta and BC all create a 15 year old league to showcase all draft eligible players in one place? Would make it easier on the scouts and drive competition level up.
