This is a middleware.
I implemented distributed tracing for my service. - Used dependency injection - If New Relic isn't configured, we fail gracefully with a no-op middleware. This ensures that my application continues to function even if observability services are unavailable.

This is at the top-level of my server setup, so that all downstream handlers and services can easily produce consistent, contextual, and traceable logs for better observability.
Spent today building a middleware that enriches every request that enters my backend. - For every incoming HTTP request, it attaches a structured logger to the context. This logger is pre-populated with request ID, HTTP method, route path, client IP, user ID and user role.
