Mr President, the Police never evolved from colonial times when they were anti-people. The IGP is a product of the same system. Trusting him with any reform won’t work. I suggest you: 1. #EndSARS 2. Retire IGP 3. Bring in interim leadership from outside, like you did for Customs.
I met again with the IGP tonight. Our determination to reform the police should never be in doubt. I am being briefed regularly on the reform efforts ongoing to end police brutality and unethical conduct, and ensure that the Police are fully accountable to the people.
