Lanka Software Foundation is working with a group of volunteers to build some software for Red Cross Sri Lanka to channel/manage donations to buy medical supplies. We need a volunteer to help with React and NextJS. Please email [email protected] if you can help!
The fundamentals of programming won't change in 20 years. However, I do hope languages like @ballerinalang enter into an accelerated adoption phase. Productivity without needing the weight of Java, .NET, or a DSL for cloud app and integration development is a true innovaiton.
Do you think programming will change substantially in the next 20 years? How so?
WSO2 @wso2 is looking for a platform to run hackathons for @ballerinalang. Need to support writing code that works with stdin/out, access data sources, consume services, and produce netwok endpoints (services and webhooks/callbacks). What platform can do that list?
I would like to find out which software (NOT services) companies have staff in Sri Lanka. Can you please add a row to this spreadsheet if you have actual (not heresay) info? See: docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d… Please RT to get a full picture.
I’m thrilled to announce that @wso2 raised a $90M investment from @GoldmanSachs. More info in a blog we published: wso2.com/blogs/thesourc… We look forward to furthering our current products and the new cloud offerings of @ChoreoDev and @asgardeo with this funding!
