great points, and graphql is still a little too meme'd upon

5 years later, how well is RPC performing? 👎 In early 2020, I launched @blitz_js with it's blissfully elegant RPC API, where you could just write backend functions and import them into the frontend, getting immediate type safe client-server communication. It was a bit of a…

why is no one talking about this combo, it's amazingly cost efficient. if you use vscode you get unlimited autocompletions and you can use all copilot models (sonnet 4 btw) with opencode, all for 10 bucks a month

i think github copilot is bigger than it seems so many people use opencode + copilot because their company auto bought it - classic msft situation might end up being another teams vs slack situation

every so often im reminded how impressive @parceljs is, definitely the most underrated bundler. every niche bundling usecase i've had is already supported by parcel in some ways, while others require tons of customizations and plugins

anyone know where i can find examples of an @EffectTS_ backend? seems like everything i find is either CLI apps or bots or something. i'd like to see how people use and create layers for ORMs, or how they integrate all the error and tracing stuff with fastify or nitro

From the very beginning, one of our main goals was: Typing math should be as natural as typing plain text. No syntax, no coding—just start typing, no learning required

any chance we get a @tan_stack start component on @SST_dev? not until 1.0 i guess?

surprisingly not a huge fan of tanstack start's new server functions API. it's been painful to migrate to, juggling not one but potentially multiple server boundaries (with middleware, validation, etc.) is a struggle

one of those days where i'd rather write array.at(0) instead of array[0] and i don't know why
