This second half from Gonzaga is beyond impressive. We said before the season their defense was going to be better but that hasn’t even done it justice. Maybe Few’s best defensive team since the title game teams.
Saint Mary’s continues to roll, 90-60 over Ohio. Liam Campbell came off the bench to give them a game-high 20. This team is still figuring things out but the offense looks better than expected. Might be the most offensively balanced team Randy Bennett has had in a long while.
LMU did not take care of the basketball well all night but dominated the second half and won by 13 at UTEP. LMU is now 4-0, with a 3-0 Troy squad coming in on Friday.

It’s VERY early but Santa Clara jumped 25 spots in KenPom with that win.
Santa Clara crushes Xavier by 19, now 3-0 and probably should be favored in every game from now until they go to The Pit on December 6 (6 games). I think we can already realistically be thinking this is the year for the Broncos.
I don’t like how Santa Clara played these last couple of minutes. It was 30 and it will end up 19. A win is a win but this game looks WAY more impressive when it was a 20+ point victory.
