Every Christmas Eve, local school Dutch children come to Holten & Groesbeek Canadian Military Cemeteries in the Netherlands to light a candle in the honour of every Canadian soldier laid to rest.
Another reason to despise @Walmart … an associate tasked w shelving an item beyond his capacity … almost seemed frightened when I offered to assist, not allowed to accept help from shoppers. I understand liability etc, but he feared reprimand more than being injured.
