Trying to break things into smaller modules be it while learning, writing your first function or experiencing a new portal/platform helps make things simpler. Tackling small things one at a time. Simple yet most effective tactic :)

Since I learned that 50-70% of people don’t have an internal monologue, the world suddenly makes a lot more sense.
I'd say, stuff happens. A little bit of patience sometimes goes a really long way. If they are for the long-term they'd never forget this leap of faith you show them, if you decide to do so. Just my quick take on it :)
