Why Pannenberg for ecology and not Moltmann? Moltmann emphasizes divine immanence, so creation's existence now in God gives it meaning. Pannenberg emphasizes divine purpose to be realized eschatologically, so creation's groaning (Romans 8.22) now will be redeemed in the end.
