The number of people who died from Covid is closer to 28 million but still the 7 million figure is quoted in articles, it’s disgraceful. We need full transparency on this and insult to everyone who died.
There should have only been the need to lock down once, David. Your party's ill-conceived policies and failure to take the virus seriously led to the next two...as well as the need for one when delta and omicron hit. But, after "freedom" day, you simply chose to ignore it.

I have a severe Long Covid symptom: an allergy to people who tweet here anonymously telling me eg that I had a cold, that Covid doesn't exist, that being put on a ventilator killed me.
Just a reminder: you are NOT unusual, weird, or unlovable if you have: - no one to see on Christmas Day, - no presents, or - no contactable relatives. Very few people live the idealised version on TV. Those of us who live differently—whether by choice or trauma—matter as much.

Hi @matthabusby, It is a shame that you didn't consider the needs of those who are Clinically Vulnerable and particularly those who are immunocompromised / immunosuppressed and face ongoing high-risks from Covid / 'flu and other airborne infections. x.com/i/status/20034…
