I’ve never met a successful pessimist.
90% of podcasters quit before Episode 3. Of the remaining 10%, 90% quit before Episode 20. Why? Because they make content for other people. So when other people don't see what they make, they quit. The solution? Create for yourself. Have an Audience Of 1.
Hiding weaknesses doesn't project strength. It reflects insecurity. No matter how hard you try, people who know you well will see your flaws. You might as well get credit for having the humility to look for them, the self-awareness to spot them, and the integrity to admit them.
Your intimate partner is a massive decision in your life. Make sure you are with someone who: - Brings you Peace vs. Problems - Is Joyful when You Win vs. Jealous - Pushes you to Grow vs. Pulls you Down - Takes Responsibility vs. Blames you for Everything
Turn off the fear of making something lame. Instead of listing the reasons your idea won’t work, try to think of all the ways it could. Great work is on the other side of lame work.
