We have exciting news! Our longest duration tag just popped off and is transmitting data via satellites to us, allowing us to figure out what the sailfish pictured has been up to the last 9 MONTHS!

A flying fish? Nope! Just a blue marlin jumping out of the water. Blue marlin are extremely athletic fish who won’t hesitate to jump out of the water to avoid danger. For example, to escape a predator or in this case, to throw a hook out of their mouth. instagr.am/p/Ce4A6irJ5IW/
