Hey there fishy folks. What a charitable gesture Groovy Donuts of East Lansing and Williamston is making to Project FISH, and other great community organizations, on the 30th of November. Join in the flavor of that day and pre-order your office, home and personal donuts.
Had about 90, 7 year olds, out at the Meridian Township pond and avery rainy day, no dampened spirits ... check out the fun.
We fished with 200 kids from Murphy and Ralya Elementary schools in Haslett for the last couple of days. Every kid caught at least 1 and one girl I watched catch double digits. I love teachers who value experiential learning.
For my educator friends interested in Wind Energy STEM activities, there may be something here for you. The webinar is August 9th 4-h.org/programs/stem-… Let's go a bit further and add Art and Recreation and get kids out STREAMing!
This young lady went through the Salmon in the Classroom program while in 5th grade and 8th grade and caught her first fish as an education intern at MSU!
