I am a Backend Engineer and a hobbyist Fullstack Developer that loves building websites that not only look good but perform exceptionally well.
Been playing with graphQL, nestjs makes it so easy to implement compared to express.
Perplexity is just good, no bluff just what i need, and always accurate
Backend devs, how do you showcase your work? Unlike frontend, everyone sees what you are building Imagine telling non technical person you built an API What does that even mean?
I integrated a Headless CMS for managing site content (e.g blogs) , Using strapi. Not everything requires an admin panel, this manages most dynamic content very well.
Funny how hours of AI back-and-forth can be avoided if you just read the documentation. My Bug Solving Process Brainstorm & Prompt AI for a fix -> Understand what caused the problem and tell AI what to do -> read the docs and do it myself -> take a nap and try again 😪

Stumbled across libraries in NestJS, a neat way to make even monolithic applications share common code between different modules. With just a simple command, it can even have multiple submodules. To learn more: docs.nestjs.com/cli/libraries
Hackathon Tips 101: Forget auth! Judges don’t care If you must do it, use demo credentials, I’ve watched many teams embarrass themselves because their login credentials (that they have tested 200+ times before demo) fails on stage
