We should now stop comparing China to the current day Idiocracy of America. We should compare it to the US of the late 1980s. Hitting on all cylinders, on the verge of a decisive victory in its Cold War against another 'superpower'. Comparing it to America of today is useless.
What should it mean to be a "DSA elected"? Some say it's enough to pay dues to DSA & be "progressive", no matter how you relate to the org and its members. I think Jesse Brown is demonstrating the standard to which we should hold our endorsed elected officials.
Tonight, as usual, I held the People's Caucus and talked directly to the folks who came out to the Council meeting, since I don't have any closed -door meetings to attend. We took a poll on the data center and talked about other budget issues.
