Can someone point me in the direction of any published research on the behavior of "pandemic puppies"?

Reply with any comments you have on recruiting participants from Facebook groups (either benefits or limitations). Please and thanks! #dogscience

Does anyone know of any papers citing dog training methods and geographical location? I've got big (maybe too big) questions on my mind.

Hi Twittersphere, I've returned! I took a LONG break from social media (and non-work related emails, etc) to focus on my new-ish full-time training job, completing my thesis, and mental health. Working with large groups of pups has me full of new questions and ready to explore.

Wow. Incredibly fascinating research.

When power is toxic... New study @PNASNews shows that dominant individuals can influence a group through force, but passive individuals are better at bringing a group to consensus. This result touches on evolution of animal societies and toxic leadership structures THREAD 1/2

📢Twittersphere! I'm putting together my Companion Animals in Society course and would love to highlight early career scientists (undergrad-phd!), sci-commers, and more! If you study pets, or write about them, I would love to 1) follow you and 2) get in touch! Comment below or PM

"My dog lunges and growls at strangers, how long is it going to take for that to stop?" *owner continues to use prong collar, pops it when dog sees stranger* 🤦‍♀️

Bad news for me: I am on the waiting list for the first postdoctoral grant proposal I ever submitted. I finish my PhD by November this year, so if you know a postdoc offer (in Europe) in animal personality, cognition and welfare, please, send it my way.
