Had a great time playing the Modern 20k at #MXPOAK last weekend. Went 9-4 to finish 26th with UR Murktide for mincash. I hope to see more bigger-than-store events like this in the Bay Area.

They should just add a chess clock to Magic Online so players don't have to make awkward house agreements for comboing. #mtgochamps
Exactly how I drew it up.
Did the serious ladder grind for the first time since M20. Took 12 drafts to get from low gold to Diamond 2, then hit a rut and took 11 drafts for the last run. Went cycling ~40% of the time (lower than I should have).
After a bit of a break from PTQs, I decided to play the one 10 min away. Made top 8, then quickly lost to the mirror. Maybe I'll start playing more of these again...
Saw this from my local PTQ's registration page... what's the deal with this? I thought there were a lot of PTQs much smaller than 128 recently.

Played my only lifetime matches with Modern Hogaak today, going 6-2 at the MCQ in SF. Probably punted both matches I lost. I think this is the best deck I've played in a PTQ since Caw-Blade.
I guess I and everyone I know have been doing the London mulligan incorrectly?

2-1 in draft 1 with UB skies, 8-4 overall. Loved my deck, I was disappointed not to get a 3-0 with this one.
