What I love about teaching this is that in the lesson after the students come back and tell me all the details they've started to notice in the production of their favourite songs. AND that I can teach that Music theory is just having the language to describe what you hear.

C3-4 students experimenting with a CDJ-1000MK2 plugged into an RC-505 Loopstation. Sampling, live looping, considering pitch, tempo, adding voice, discovering the reverse switch, and a CD! AND, the #DynamicCreativity hashtag was born today #versoschool
Kicking the week off with a DJ Dance party in EY… Feat. DJ Whaleshark, DJ Sea-urchin, DJ Polar bear; mixing and matching loops, adding FX, and MC’s on the mic 🥳 EY4-5 are “in the house” @versoschool
Our brand new “Quick Smart Guides” are going down a storm as they equip students with the basic skills needed to become independent learners. This empowers them to explore further, connect, gain confidence, and evolve as dynamic content creators. It’s a win win @versoschool
