I know they have to keep explanations fairly simple for GCSE physics, but is this a step too far?
Feeling smug.... I had to send my Bosch robot lawnmower back for repair after having had it for a year. Not only had I kept the box (which is huge), but also all the packing inserts. Packing that would have been a nightmare without the original box.
So that's another show over - Titanic the Musical. Thoroughly enjoyed it and I hope my lighting did the performances justice.
As I'm in London for the evening it would be rude not to see a show....
I'm actually attempting to learn stuff today! Excited to be on the @orbitalsound Mixing For Musicals course... Must try not to be totally jealous of all the kit they have though....
Long shot, but had anyone repaired a PSU from an LD Systems MAUI 11 speaker system? I reckon it must be a fairly common failure as I have 3 such broken units here....

An LX question for the hive mind: How would you imply the landing of a helicopter? It's for Scene 1 of Made In Dagenham.... the helicopter notionally lands off stage.
I have two kitchen sink related issues I've been putting off dealing with, however my hand has now been forced. #1 - the waste is pretty blocked. #2 - the tap drips. The rate of tap drippage now exceeds the draining capacity so I can't ignore this any longer!
The slightly less exciting side of lighting - awards and conferences. It still has artistic aspects though and helps fund more toys...
If I was to win @CapitalOfficial's Jingle Bell Ball backstage passes there's no way I'd be trying to hobnob with celebrities in the green room. Instead I'd spend the entire night in the tech pit enjoying every second of it. Not sure that's what they have in mind though....
